Growing up in a family of artists, photography has become
a natural part of Brian’s life. Surrounded by the language of composition, format, perspective and color he quickly developed an eye to view the world around him through the lens of the camera.

At the age of 18 in a trip to Senegal, West Africa Brian realized the necessity of a quality 35 mm SLR in order to properly capture the beauty of Africa. His primary goal at that time was to purchase a proper camera for his future trips through Europe, Scandinavia and the Middle East. The camera has become his constant companion and much of his favorite photography is in his home province of Saskatchewan.

As a past Administrator and teacher in Saskatoon Brian has taught photography over the years promoting the joy of his hobby.  Brian recently retired as Principal from Georges Vanier Catholic Fine Arts School for Greater Saskatoon
Catholic Schools.

Brian’s work has been published in the past by Novalis and in the “Our Family Magazine” He continues to do photography for local organizations
and has had a number of photographic shows over the years.

Some of his recent work includes photography for Nuit Blanche in Saskatoon, and the David Suzuki - Blue Dot Tour.
